Khatamga in Tibetan (wylie: kha tam ga) refers to the Sanskrit Khaṭvāṅga (“tantric staff”) which represents one of the attributes of Śrīpāla or Rigden Pelkyong—one of the Twenty-five Kulikas as well as one of the traditional Shambhala rulers.—His attributes are a trident and a Tantric staff (Sanskrit: Khaṭvāṅga; Tibetan: khatamga [kha tam ga], khatwamga [kha twam ga]).—Rigden Pelkyong is known in Tibetan (wylie) as rigs ldan dpal skyong; and in Sanskrit as: Kulika Śrīpāla.
